 HOLISTICALLY EDUCATING ARTS LEADERS

Music, Mentorship, and Endless Possibilities.

That’s what we see in every student who walks through our doors.

Together—with the help of passionate volunteers, dedicated partners, generous donors, and a growing community that believes in the power of the arts—we’re creating space for young people to rise, heal, and shine their light far beyond the stage.

Modern School Building

Expanding Arts Education Beyond the Classroom

HEAL Center for the Arts partners with schools across the St. Louis region to provide students with direct access to structured music education, mentorship, and ensemble development during the school day.

The purpose of the Music in Our Schools Program is to support and help rebuild the musical integrity of underserved urban school communities by providing individualized student instruction, ensemble development, and instructional support that complements existing school-based music programs.

HEAL’s Inter-School Masterclass Model further expands this work by bringing students from multiple schools together for advanced ensemble training, masterclasses, workshops, and collaborative performance experiences led by professional artists and educators. This model creates larger pathways for musical growth, peer collaboration, and high-level performance opportunities for students across the St. Louis region.

Together, these programs are expanding access to high-quality arts education while strengthening the long-term future of music education in underserved communities.

Vision

HEAL Center for the Arts is committed to developing young intellectual artists whom we believe will positively influence the way in which our society thinks and feels by creating and presenting meaningful art. We are able to achieve this because our students are trained through a rigorous curriculum that is both challenging and engaging from world renowned artist and educators.

Our students are taught with love, fervor, and dedication. They are learning what it means to be disciplined, structured, and most importantly, they are being taught to rise above the nefarious and complicit behaviors that continue to plague our society.

Mission

HEAL Center for the Arts is committed to making quality arts programming accessible to all students, especially to those of urban  communities.

HEAL Center for the Arts is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and multi-disciplinary center of music, arts learning, and performance in St. Louis, Missouri. The Center provides arts education programs after school and during school vacations to middle and high school students and fosters a rich, diverse cultural perspective of the arts through high quality instruction for youth specializing in instrumental and vocal music.
